🛑Manga spoilers ahead🛑

I'm gonna be elaborating in further detail on some lines that get misinterpreted because of translation that miss out on certain themes. Eng and Jp are extremely different, and things get twisted thru tl sometimes

Before i begin, i wanna make sure this is NOT about dead MIStranslation, it's about translations that missed important stuff, or the translations that you need more context of.

I have a separate thread about MISTL specifically so check that out if you want https://twitter.com/ilymir_EZGbora/status/1301654770617323525
'See you later' aka Itterashai.
1. It must foreshadow the return of the one being told.
2. The one saying it must STAY in one place.

Therefore I doubt you can say this to dead since they can't come back if they're dead.
It's dead wrong tl but just to give you more context...
There's many options you can use for 1st person pronoun in Jp, in which Eren normally uses Ore whereas Grisha uses Watashi.

Ar: did you just say 'watashi'?
Er: huh?
(FYI, watashi is used by women a lot of times)
'Live your life w pride' 胸張って生きろよ
To understand what it rlly means it's better to direct translate and see it from there, which is 'Live with your chest open'. I know it sounds weird and vague but here's a visual aid.

FYI, it has little direct relation to the term PRIDE
There's many options you can use for 2nd person pronoun(You) in Jp as well :0

Some suggested we can figure out who this is is by sorting the casts' 2P pronoun, but tbh there's not much helping since almost every male cast use 'Omae', as used in the panel. The chart helps
Hanji IS NOT referred to as she in Japanese text nor has ever been. Levi uses あいつ which is a (friendly/rude) gender neutral pronoun

FYI, gender pronouns(kanojo, kare) in Jp usually often sound formal or awkward for close friends to use to refer to each other
In Eng translation it's not well conveyed since the language works entirely different. Sasha always speaks in voice called Keigo; simply put, it's like adding sir or ma'am every sentence. She doesn't know how to speak non-dialect casual
She says many lines in her dialect later
130__Eren did not say our/we. He said "The only options are to fight the MP, or to run away".

It's so common to leave out subjects from sentence, or either to always use passive voice in Japanese so we just gotta figure out the rest by context
136__ just in case ppl missed, Levi uses a plural 2nd person pronoun 'お前ら' meaning 'you guys'. He was referring to both Erwin AND Hanji's look in their eyes.
137_Original text: 未練を残していたことは確かだが
It should be smth more like:
"It's for sure she had smth left she longed but couldn't quite reach"

It's not about her attachment to the world itself.
