Keeping the ice cream cold. @ILoveBlueBell
This is all in good fun, but the reality is I had to pack all my cold food into a cooler and leave it outside. We tried to escape to a friend’s who has power, but the sky had clouded over and the roads iced over. 2 blocks from our house we turned around and came back.
The other reality is my kids are afraid of how cold the house is going to get tonight. It’s about 46° in here right now. We’re together and plan on huddling up tonight, but the anxiety is real (and mine manifests itself in the form of terrible stomach aches).
