. @TransLink modelling showed that the SkyTrain faregates will cost more to operate than they'll save by stopping fare evasion.

But @KevinFalcon overruled TransLink and forced TransLink to install fare gates costing $200 million dollars.

Want to know why? Read on.

So here's the basic math:
Estimated fare evasion on SkyTrain: $7- $10 million
Cost of fare gates: $200 million
Cost of operating fare gates: $15 million

This raises two questions?
Where did @KevinFalcon learn math?
How the heck did Kevin Falcon function as the Finance minister?

But those are questions for another day.
The fare gates are operated by a US company called @CubicTS. The guy who lobbied on behalf of Cubic is Ken Dobell. Who is Ken Dobell?
Naturally, @bcliberals received a donation from @CubicTS.
So here's your homework question:

Who benefits from these SkyTrain fare gates @KevinFalcon thrust down taxpayers' throats?
