1/5 The key difference between BJP and every other political party in India is this.

Take everything negative about Indian society, exaggerate it and BJP flourishes in that ecosystem. Hate, riots, fake news, sexism, etc make them more attractive to their key supporters.

2/5 Every other party loses when they do this. Their pitch is not of hate. That's not what they sell.

An AAP/INC/AIMIM/CPI etc. supporter feels embarrassed when they have to confront these incidents.

3/5 Whether they acknowledge or double down is another issue but they do find things wrong. Generally. And that makes them far better.

Also, don't expect these parties to apologize for their misdeeds. They are already on their backfoot.

4/5 The media doesn't wait for even a second to misquote them. While it is good if they introspect and improve, expecting a public acknowledgment is too much IMO.

So please, don't equate these parties to BJP. At least not in their current forms. Every option is better.

5/5 Pick yours or take your time. It is alright. But just know that the vision of India set by BJP and everyone else is on two ends of the spectrum. Not the same at all.
