8. He lied about herd immunity too: In December, Fauci admitted to The New York Times that he had âslowly but deliberately been moving the goal postsâ on the percentage of the population that needed to be vaccinated before âherd immunityâ against COVID-19 was reached.
9. âWhen polls said only about half of all Americans would take a vaccine, I was saying herd immunity would take 70 to 75 percent. Then, when newer surveys said 60 percent or more would take it, I thought, âI can nudge this up a bit,â so I went to 80, 85,â he said.
10. In other words, a trusted scientist lied knowingly and repeatedly to the American people, abusing his position of trust, because he thought lying would help.
