Breaking Twitter silence to talk about $XHV.

I've held my tongue for too long.

@HavenProtocol is the most bullish project in the space, at the intersection of the three biggest trends in crypto:

#DeFi, privacy, and stablecoins

Haven Protocol forked from Monero in 2018 with the vision to create decentralized stablecoins using the colored coin model.

Stablecoins known as xAssets are redeemable on-chain for their value in $XHV.

Haven is early in development, and xUSD is the only stableasset on mainnet.
With xUSD using most of Monero's privacy stack, Haven becomes an offshore bank account.

The stablecoin can be used on its own, but more interesting to me is that xUSD will be integrated into DeFi.

This will happen in two ways.

The first way is the addition of other stable assets.

As $SNX has shown, collateralization of the base layer token for sAssets is an excellent value capture mechanism.

Haven plans to integrate xGLD, xSLV, xEUR, xCNY, and xOIL, among others.

As far as I can tell, additional xAssets just require consensus and a change in the API calls to Chainlink.

Advice to the @HavenXHV team - the more xAssets you add, the less volatility will have at maturity.

XHV's team is well-respected by others in the industry, and with props like these from @thorchain_org, I'd expect others in the industry to start working with them as well.

As for its future use, once anonymous #DeFi traders, LPs and others look to exit, xUSD and xGLD will be a great way to do that.

Like other collateral tokens, XHV appreciates proportionally to demand for its synthetic assets.

On a personal note, one of the things I like the most about XHV is that while transaction amounts are hidden, the supply of xAssets is known.

This makes it great for economic analysis.

I'm too busy right now to create articles, but $XHV will be the topic on a lengthy analysis on @EatSleepCrypto at some point in the future.

For now, I hope you're able to explore it for yourself and let me know if you come to the same, or different conclusions.
