My two cents on the "is goy pejorative" question: When used to refer to marginalized peoples, it often can be — People of Color, Palestinians specifically, people of marginalized religions. It's also often used to alienate converts, patrilineal Jews, and interfaith families.
When the word is used to refer to white folks, specifically Pagan or (*Western*) Christian ones, then the use changes — it now becomes a tool used by a marginalized people to express their experiences with oppression.
I think using this word should always come with consideration — are you directing it towards People of Color as a way to denote their race? The meaning of the word changes as the use fluctuates. It's important to be conscious of how we use our language.
