Here's a recent personal example of how @UTU_trust works, and how we're closing the gap between how we trust in the real world vs. how we trust online.

The scenario - finding a new dentist for my daughter! 🦷

Thread 👇
I search on my dental insurance company's website.

I find a few dentists nearby, but there aren't any reviews on the insurance site.

So I Google the dentists' names and land on ZocDoc.

The reviews are all good, with at least 30 for each. I'm not really sure how to pick one.
I also ask my friends what dentist they use for their kids, and get a couple of recos

2 of my friends go to the same dentist

Even though there were only 2 "reviews" of this dentist, these recos are infinitely more valuable than the ones with a bunch of rando online ratings
This is the core difference between $UTU and current #digitaltrust systems today:

The ability to leverage existing social connections (and identify other types of meaningful connections using data science and AI) to surface better and more contextual recommendations.
So instead of combing through random reviews (that can be manipulated) from people you've never met, you'll be able to see who in your existing networks has used particular service providers, products, and more to inform your choice that much better.
Companies who integrate $UTU into their apps will be able to provide these more informed recommendations for their products and services, increasing trust and conversion rates for their businesses.

Imagine these improvements in trust being spread across every website and app!
There is a lot more to UTU, including the #blockchain protocol that will reward users for accurate reviews and sharing their data.

But the scenario I outlined is a perfect example of how one of our products, the UTU Trust API, works very differently than what exists today.
Trust is so critical to everything that we do, especially online. And we're working hard to improve #trust across the entire internet.
