something that’s been on my mind lately is how a lot us take for granted how lucky we are to have roger participate in so many amazing events even though he has no obligation to, especially at such a stage in his life after everything he has done and been through
I don’t need to point out how so many of our favs are either unfortunately dead or retired; and some of those who are still active have some... questionable political beliefs. But even after all his hard work in his career of almost 50+ years, he’s still an active force
he doesn’t have to participate in streams, he doesn’t have to go to protests, he doesn’t have to keep performing & organizing these amazing concerts; but he chooses to! & I think that’s so fucking amazing!! He could’ve just retired to some beautiful island but he didn’t.
every single fucking month he PROVIDES, and I for one am so thankful fo that; I love his political debates and enjoy listening to them while I work on my essays + his recent renditions on his songs that he’s uploading are a blast to listen to!!
I guess what I’m trying to say is, we don’t deserve this man. He’s trying his best to fight for the right thing, he’s fighting for us, and I will forever be grateful that. thanks roger
