I have a lot of thoughts on Draymond, but I'll add this is one of the reasons that sport is important for change. Athletes have been raised to mythic status since Ancient Greece. They're also workers and capable of articulating the best horizon for many people beyond the court.
When athletes talk, people listen. It's as simple as that. Look at the outpouring of support for Draymond right now and tell me that isn't a useful tool in articulating to someone who supports players and explaining to them why they can have it in their own job.
Draymond has also diagnosed a problem far more pervasive than basketball, which is uppity black people being silenced first in any workplace. Those at the bottom of a racial and class hierarchy are always going to be the ones most threatening to those at the top.
