Human rights are universal & allow us to:
+focus on the root causes of poverty & inequality
+examine the intersections between different issues
+centre broad participation in policy development

The fulfilment of this right needs to include a redistribution of wealth & power, both within the food system and throughout society so as to ensure all of us can afford and access food

In a country as rich as the UK there is no excuse for such high levels of poverty
