Rep. Thompson is also seeking punitive damages which is A+ trolling insofar as it may force Trump to admit he’s a broke ass.

There are definitely questions about presidential immunity. Nixon v. Fitzgerald is a good place to start. I think we may be in uncharted territory here with regard to what an official act is—but I'm not positive. When I figure it out, I'll let y'all know.
