How to be content with your thoughts

// Thread //
Being content with your thoughts means, being comfortable in your mind no matter the situation.

I will teach you practical ways to develop love for yourself

If you want to get better this is for you
Mediation:

Sit down in a room alone with no distractions for 10-15 minutes a day.

This trains your mind into being comfortable with nothingness.

Thoughts will happen when you "meditate" it is best to pay attention to them.
When your thoughts do come act as an observer.

What do I mean by that?

Become a coach at a high school game, observe your thoughts from the sidelines.

The players will do what they want just as your thoughts do as they please.
Controlling Your Thoughts:

You are allowed to think what you want.

You are not controlled by thoughts but, they often persuade you

To take control of your thoughts means taking control of your life

When you have full control of your life your thoughts mean nothing
Thoughts are as renewable as trees.

Plant thought seeds with daily affirmations.

Telling yourself positive messages about how to feel empowers you.
Fuck Everyone Else:

They are not living your life so, their input on what you do has no meaning.

When you give value to peoples words it puts them in a position of power.

Instead value your own words and own interest people will follow along.
Practice Solitude:

Being alone is the most natural way your thoughts happen.

Do an activity by yourself everyday

-Go on a Walk
-Absorb 10 pages of a book
-Take notes about an interesting subject
-Explore your intrest

Learning to do things by yourself builds your confidence.
Combat Your Negative Thoughts:

Anytime you think in a negative way change that thought to the most positive outcome you can think of.

Negative thoughts stick around, Positive thoughts leave town.

Trick your brain into optimism it will never notice.
