Kylin Hill, RB out of Mississippi State. When he got a full workload in 2019, he was a top 3 rusher in the SEC. 2019 was a year in the SEC dominated with names like CEH, Swift, Bowden and Najee.

So who is Kylin Hill? Let’s dive into the tape!

@MyFantasyLeague
Kylin Hill opted out of the 2020 season only a couple of games in. In those 3 games Hill was part of State’s new Air Raid offense, leading to Hill being much more involved in the passing game. He had a career high in receptions and yards in only 3 games this year 👀
So what does Hill’s tape tell us about him as a player? Here is what I liked about Hill’s tape:

- Solid Change of Direction/Lateral Movement 🔁
- Elusive/Shifty for his play style 🥷
- Good burst through the LOS 💨
- Power 💪
- Contact Balance ⚖️
CHANGE OF DIRECTION

For Hill’s size, he has solid change of direction. He’s not just a downhill, north/south runner. He has some solid lateral movement. In the 2nd clip, it isn’t a huge gain, but he makes 2 jump cuts at the LOS allowing him to maximize his yards on the play.
ELUSIVE

This is another trait that is a bit surprising for a runner of Hill’s style. He can get small through the LOS and into the 2nd level as seen in the 1st clip. Then the 3rd clip is just filthy with how he breaks down that defender at the edge. Hill can make people miss 🔥
BURST

Hill has solid burst through the LOS once he commits to the hole. This can be a lethal pairing with his jump cut behind the LOS. In the 4th clip he does his jump cut behind the LOS and is immediately into the second level and more with his burst
