More than half of the 800 people at MCFP Springfield have contracted COVID-19. Springfield is a CARE Level 4 facility for the most medically vulnerable in BOP custody.
People incarcerated at Springfield can’t social distance at night. Prison staff disregard mask and social distance requirements. COVID is running rampant with 230 staff cases and more than 400 cases amongst those incarcerated.
More people will die of COVID if no changes are made to the current conditions at MCFP Springfield. @OfficialFBOP @POTUS will you step in to get these individuals the care they need, enforce mask and social distance reqs, and release vulnerable individuals to home confinement?
