Tech lies to itself about who it decides is a culture fit. It's choosing over & over in so many companies to prop up white supremacy & eugenics. Even if it pays lip service to diversity, equity & inclusion. Note how many diversity numbers are cooked to reflect support staff

So many tech companies are "Serious about working with BIPOC & just having pipeline problems" until the time comes to pay, promote & follow those people already in the pipeline. Funny how that keeps happening & yet the Feds can find BIPOC techies. So can every other industry
