Big Issue vendor Paul got in contact to say that his washing machine was broken, and he was having to rely on the launderette to wash his clothes. Without an income Paul is struggling with finances due to being unable to sell The Big Issue and the launderette is expensive.
We contacted @HopeNottingham discussed the situation with them. They set up fundraising through @acts435 and were able to raise £150 in a week to purchase Paul a new washing machine.
They’ve also agreed to take his old one away to try and refurbish it so it can be donated to someone else in need!
Paul phoned up today to say how pleased he was with the new washing machine and said he was spending the day washing the mountain of clothes that have built up.
