I need some new music suggestions... What can you suggest that is a bit obscure, but really, really good?

I will give everything recommended a proper listen, and am already enjoying the early suggestions! I will write a brief review with each thank you note.

Just to say, I am working my way through all of your recommendations... This is taking a while, as I sometimes listen to a few tracks by each band...
