The federal program helps, but can't be a substitute for provincially legislated #paidsickdays which more easily enable every worker to take a day off without worry of when they'll be paid or whether their job will be at risk. This *is* provincial responsibility, @fordnation. 2/4
Our MPPs return to Queen's Park today and @PeggySattlerNDP's #Bill239 has been tabled. Ontario Liberals will support it and every effort to ensure #paidsickdays for every worker in the province of Ontario. Call your MPP and ask them to do the same to protect #publichealth. 3/4
