For my disabled followers, what are/have been the barriers to entry into a job, particularly into the games industry?
For me I struggle with the job descriptions - often they're super specific and if I don't meet the criteria I won't apply. Even if people tell me half of it is just a general rule.
Oh and automatic resume/CV reader software is an access issue - I will always fail to get an interview because I format my CV to be readable by me, a person with cognitive disability. If you use one of these you'll probably miss out on disabled talent.
Having a company say up front they offer reasonable adjustments is good, rare but good. A step further would be useful to have more info on how they go about that. A step by step on how a potential employee would speak to the company about getting those adjustments in place.
