I'm finally listening to the Reply All mini series on Bon Appetit. Have been avoiding because after 2020, I'm burned out on media diversity/racism stories. Feeling very Reni Eddo-Lodge about it all.
First takeaway is the pronunciation: BONE Appetit. more later.
Painful to listen to a recount of a media org where all the gatekeepers were white or mostly white. Is this not the story of nearly all Australian media? Hard going.
On the other hand. The series features POC voices. So that's a point of departure with Aus media. ZING.
