When compared against a control group case study such as Florida, this suggests that those who took the view that lockdowns such as California’s merely *correlate* with apparent success in controlling the virus, rather than *cause* it, were probably onto something.

PS: civil liberties are the default. The burden of proof is on those making the claim that lockdowns work.
