The BH crisis has raged on for 12 years now. It started in Borno, with mostly Kanuri fighters.
No one attached any "Kanuri" or "Borno" qualifier to the menace. It was rightly treated as it was; a crisis!
But today, the Fulani 'moniker' is attached to every wrong & headline. WHY??
