So, Ranboo calls the sleepwalking state enderwalk. Meaning its his ENDERMAN half that is affected, allegedly and according to him, by the ":)" as a trigger. Its NOT his other half. -

If this is to be believed, it means Dream and Ranboo may not be connected via Dreamon. However, on the other half. You have the Egg asking Ranboo if he's Dream, and the Dreamons presence between Dream and Ranboo COULD be a reasoning for that.

Could be. Is it likely? Ehhh but it could be!

Another idea is that a part of Ranboo is corrupted by the Egg. A good tie in here is that the Egg turns things white and red, which hey, look at that, ranboos other half is white and red. Plus ranboo CAN understand the Egg.

So theres a tad bit of evidence for that one. If you then tie in the idea that the Egg is a Dreamon, evidence being that both take control of people and the egg has shown up where the dreamon was allegedly dispelled/exorcised. All these together could reason that

Ranboo is part Dreamon. That ties in Dream, The Egg and Ranboo. But also, it doesn't make sense. Thatd almost give Dream some way to control Ranboo in two ways? Plus Dream doesnt seem to like the Egg? Theres a lot of things that feel a bit patchy to this Theory, a bit off

But also, it makes a LOT of sense.

Another thing to speak on (briefly here) is Ranboos enderman half, the enderwalkstate and the voice of dream who I call Mellohi.

Disclaimer rq: Post entry and discovery of the stronghold, Ranboo DID begin to gain more enderman-type powers. However this could just be a coincidence? So we will be pushing that aside here.

First things: we know, without a doubt that the ":)" is an on and off switch for Ranboo's enderwalkstate. As in one stream, he began in the state and came to when he hovered over a thanks :) letter. However we also know, the ":)" doesnt ALWAYS trigger the state. At least,

We can assume that to be the case? We can also assume the prison visit wasn't all a Dream. And was instead Ranboo being asleep but semi-aware while he visited Dream in the enderwalkstate.

In this state, its also been HEAVILY implied that Ranboo is out digging. The pickboos being low, his beacon going missing, as well just, what hes said in chat in that state. About digging etc. This COULD be something tied in with Dream. We just don't know.

I think this mode is like hypnotism too? In a way. Ranboo is still himself, but his memories here get locked away for when hes out of that state. However, I think in that state, hes fully aware of everything. All his memories. While in normal Ranboo mode. He ignores

Or willfully is ignorant to these memories. I say that because of Mellohi. Mellohi is negatively portrayed by Ranboo but what has it as a voice REALLY done.

It has Dreams voice because Ranboo associates those memories negatively and with Dream. But Mellohi has only ever tried to exain to Ranboo. To get him to see and understand the full picture.

Mellohi hasnt lied, its just that Ranboo can't handle or deal with the idea that he mightve betrayed people more than he thinks he would.

Obviously, hes now getting more used to the idea, more aware that yeah okay, the enderwalkstate exists and okay yea, i uh, i may have done x y and z

But he cant comprehend WHY he did any of that. There are still things and memories missing and its why Mellohi isn't gone. But again I say: Mellohi isn't evil. We are supposed to see it like that because of Ranboo and his perspective on it.

Mellohis never actually been a malicious force, just think about it!
