Time for another thread.

Newslaundry has come up with an 'expose' on Kapil Mishra. The prime aim here is to come up with a comparison of KM's work with the infamous Greta Toolkit. Let us see what it really talks about.

#Thread
At the outset the article accuses Kapil Mishra of 'inciting riots', based on a report by the Delhi Minorities Commission. The same Minorities Commission, whose Chairman was sacked following a hateful tweet for which he had to apologise later. Very neutral indeed.
The article tells us how KM's Hindu Ecosystem recruits members. This is all in public domain and voluntary.
As the next step NL tells us that they joined the group on Telegram to satiate their curiosity. Fair enough.
The article talks about communal hatred, bigotry, toxic narratives, etc. being 'peddled' by the group. Interestingly they don't pointed out what exactly was communal, toxic or bigoted in the group.

Eventually they compare the group with the Greta Toolkit.
No libbie narrative is complete without dragging in 'upper caste men'. So was the case here. They bring in the caste & gender, just for kicks, with no real data.
The article then accuses KP of promoting Organizer & Panchjanya, the RSS publications. Yeah, grave crime indeed.🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️
There are accusations of 'spamming' Twitter against KP's group. Well thats how Twitter trends work dumbo. Thats how all the libbies come up with same tweets. Thats how 'GoBackModi' trends. This is no longer an 'investigative article', it is now a time-pass listicle.
The article yet again accuses the group of spreading fake news (see pic above), without really pointing to any specific news that was fake and shared by them.
There are SS of pinned message where 15 topics are selected for discussion. This somehow is a concern for NL. One wonders why?

Most topics are widely discussed in pubic domain, including in newspapers. There are books published on the topics. How is discussing them a problem?
NL tells its readers how the group is giving instructions to time the tweets. Again, this is Twitter 101. Any SM marketing company would know this.
NL says that the group is sharing documents & toolkits. NL has a problem with the names of the documents. If NL guys joined the group, they would have had access to the docs too. They would have read them too. But they do not tell us what was problematic with the docs. Strange
The state of confusion: NL accuses the group of 'whataboutery' against Christianity, Islam & China. Yes they have a problem with China bashing too. But the SS shared by them shows the Church condemning violence. One wonders what are they really trying to say here.
NL indulges in false equivalence between Greta Toolkit & KP's group. The problem with Greta's toolkit is not that it talks about a coordinated Twitter storm. The problem is its association with banned terror organisations. NL fails to connect KP's group with any such org.
NL also has a problem with @OpIndia_com. The article makes accusations of fake news and hate content on KP's group but does not point out to any specifics, yet again. 'Accuse someone long enough & it might just stick', that seems to be the NL mantra.
NL wanted to show us the example of hate/bigotry/fake news of the group but gives us a twitter trend to boycott Tandav. 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️
NL would like us to believe that KP started an Anti-Sikh, Sikh terror trend. To prove their point they share the collage. None of the images in the collage have anti-Sikh text, nor are they pointing to Sikh terrorism. So much for 'fake news'. 😂😂
NL finally shares a SS where there are 3 files having Sikh Terrorism in their names. Now this is in extremely poor taste and condemnable. NL rightly points it out.

But, the NL has no problems with words like Saffron Terror, Hindu Terror or Hindu Nationalists.
NL accuses the group of putting up a list of mosques/churches built by destroying temples. Well, Sitaram Goel wrote a two part academic work on this subject. What exactly is the problem here?
Parting thoughts or NL story. They again accuse the group of misinformation, fake news, etc. without really pointing to a single instance of fake news in the entire article. I would love to have such confidence to lie in my life.
