Tributes to the greatest king in 1000 yrs: Raja Bhoj Parmar on his anniversaryđŸ™đŸ»
#RajaBhoj mastered 64 arts & sciences, authored 84 scholarly works on art, architecture, astrology, geography, philosophy.
His great reign over Malwa popularised him as an incarnation of Vikramaditya.
Even the Great KrishnadevaRaya of Vijaynagar emulated Bhoja and took the title of "Abhinav Bhoja". Under his rule, Mālwa & Dhara became the chief intellectual centre of India.

He founded Bhojpur city and Bhojtal Lake (said to have covered 253 sq miles once).
He is said to have paid great attention to the education of his people, so much so that even humble weavers and cobblers in the kingdom are supposed to have composed metrical Sanskrit kavyas. He built temples, water bodies around the country, some of them even in Kashmir.
He was also a great warrior and military general, Mahmud Ghaznavi ran away from Gujarat when he heard that Raja Bhoj is coming to fight him. His kingdom extended from Chittor in the north to Konkan in the south, and from the Sabarmati River in the west to Vidisha in the east.
Modern law makers and administrators should be mandated to read his biography, while every Kshatriya should idolize him, and take inspiration from his life while aiming for scholarly pursuits.
This land is truly blessed to have seen such a great scholar King in the past.
