So lots to unpack about the Jets from that game but a few things remain consistent- a thread:

1. There was no adjustment, not real tactical shift or radical change to stop the chances that came in waves. The Oilers did a good job for chances and shots
2. Everyone can see this is a sub optimal scenario on the defense. It simply does not work and might be the catalyst for other problems such as no transition effectiveness and a coverage systems that is easily exploited.
3. There are literally mountains of evidence to show how bad the Jets are at some very specific things and basically every analyst not working for a smart team can show them.
4. Yet the coach can’t see/won’t see and does not seem to understand the analytics that matter not ‘the slot-tipped goal analytics’ he just mentioned. That’s an event, not a trend Paul.
5. So here we are, fans seeing more and more details and data and the coach not seeing anything. Or at least the same picture. The Jets are a Pollock & Maurice sees a Picasso
6. Fans know this and are hoping for anything to change, some awakening, and the nothing is driving them insane. It’s a pure definition of insanity. They see the coach is not seeing it and it’s now rubbing off on them.
7. So what gives why is this organization so hell bent on one way to do things? Why can they not deviate and adjust given the situation and obvious data?
8. That’s the hardest part-
There literally is nothing that explains the adherence and dedication to status quo. You’d never run Dad’s car dealerships this way would you? /end
