Those involved directly or recruited for the peace process—to develop and support Taliban narrative—played very immoral role during past one year. Most of them were academias, retired military professionals & fmr diplomats. 1/3

Up until January they’d promote the Taliban media material & political communication. After each ‘unclaimed’ attack this coordinated group would harshly reject Taliban’s involvement. They’d also propagate that Afghan govt is a primary obstacle to peace or blamed its security. 2/3

This ‘expert’ group would target Afghan youths on Twitter who‘d question the Taliban rebranding campaign. They stamped them as an emotional generation, pro-govt faction & discredited them. After @POTUS inauguration, this group’s activity for Taliban has dramatically declined. 3/3
