If you know the name of Ms Higgins ^alleged^ rapist but are too scared of defamation laws to post it here, DM me, I’m not.
There are perfectly legal ways to do it and I think ethically it is absolutely the right thing to do.
Lots of people know already, the problem is that they
are interested only in protecting his *good* name.
Alleged criminals are named in the media all the time and nobody gets sued.
Why should this alleged criminal get special treatment?
He hasn’t been charged, so sub judice rules don’t apply.
Naming him is the right thing to do.
Yes, naming him might damage is reputation, but if the facts are that he’s a suspect in a rape case, then his reputation is shot already.
There are plenty of people who can confirm he’s a suspect, including Reynolds, Morrison and probably a dozen Liberal staffers.
Why the silence
It’s not about the rights of Ms Higgins. We all know who she is.
Why should an alleged rapist have his privacy respected.
Rape is the ultimate invasion of privacy — the right to your own body!
The rights of Ms Higgins are best defended by having the grub who raped her exposed.
It is highly likely that the alleged rapist is connected to a prominent Liberal family.
We know that nepotism is an important value, fruits of the loin always get preferential treatment.
There’s another argument about reputation to consider.
At the moment many young Liberal blokes are potentially suspects and their collective reputation could be damaged by suspicion.
Ha ha ha.
Only kidding.
They work for the fucking Liberals, they’re already damaged good.
