Some thoughts about Clubhouse
1/
It says they are committed to diversity and inclusivity. But their icon has a photo of a man on it.
2/ Privacy concern:
“We need access to your [phone] contacts in order for you to choose people to invite.”

Later, account is verified via email.
Clubhouse:
Created by SF entrepreneur Paul Davison, and a former Google engineer, Rohan Seth. App debuted March 2020, at pandemic lockdown.

In May, Clubhouse was valued at nearly $100 million after a round of investment led by Andreessen Horowitz.
5/
Overall, it was a fun user experience. I love radio & podcasts, so this medium of content is right up my alley.

It’s “live” podcasting where listeners can “raise hands” & ask questions. Talks can be recorded and shared on podcast platforms.
