2/ It is THOUGHT that Marigold leaves when mixed with mishri (rock sugar candy) helps in regulating urine. This remains unproven in humans. In a Siberian journal, authors published a study on mice showing increased urination with FLOWERS, not LEAVES.

5/ Marigold leaves when pressed produces juicy extract (like most other leaves, nothing magical here) and this extract when treated in warm mustard oil, garlic and ajwain, taken (PUT) in ears cures even chronic ear pain - okay, this we have to deconstruct a bit. So here goes +
6 / Levels of evidence from published series is important. Here is an example. Marigold extract for acute/chronic ear pain is LEVEL C - insufficient human evidence 2 recommend for treatment of otitis media or for pain associated with otitis media

7/ Since there is no ACTUAL benefit for ear pain, better NOT to go with the pain of mixing it with mustard oil and ajjwain - these can irritate the ear canal and may cause superadded inflammation. Plain marigold ear drops are available for purchase, even though it does not work +
8/ Marigold flowers R insect repellent - true becoz it contains certain essential oils which are also phototoxic skin irritants in humans.
