White privilege is spending your childhood learning some of your relatives are true racists and bigots, and being taught that it's "better to just get along."

It's not. Don't perpetuate this to your children and future extended family. Otherwise you're part of the problem.
Doubtful there is a white American who hasn't grown up around intense, vitriolic racism and bigotry somewhere in their family. It's not easy to admit that it's there, but it certainly is freeing when you give up the charade of appeasement.
And this is the test far too many white people fail. They virtue signal on social media and with friends, but won't stand up to the hate when it actually confronts them. Because they feel uncomfortable.

None of this is supposed to be comfortable. Privilege belies reality.
