The @GlasgowCC 'Connecting Community' public conversion had a survey question about the city reallocating road-space away from cars to more sustainable ways of travel.

I am glad to see that 76%* people agreed!🎉

It also had question aimed at #SpacesForPeople and if new pop-up cycleways should be kept longer term.

The response 61% said they support this.

It's good news to know that people of Glasgow want benefit from these temporary measures.
We see more detailed cycle related questions in policy focus section:

"Investment in cycling infrastructure to produce a city- wide network that people feel safe to cycle on..."

Support - 75%

Do Not Support - 9%

Again, people in this city want a safe connected city.
The response to city's #VisionZero policies was 85% in support.

Question: "Continued working towards zero serious and fatal injuries on our road network".
Another cracker... I keep hearing people don't want this change but 81% support this:

"Reallocation of and better management of access to road space to give priority to people walking, wheeling, cycling and on public transport..."
We have 83% agreement of 20 minute neighbourhoods!

"Working collaboratively with planners and regeneration teams, ‘Liveable Neighbourhoods’ are created which maximise the availability of services within 20 minutes walking distance."

I hope folk ready for more LTNs!
We have 72% support for school streets, 20mph speed zones, and better active travel to get to schools!

Seriously, let's get on with making better city Glasgow!

I think this shows that city needs to fast track these plans ASAP!
