— belong in mcyttwt is an attempt to tell us to find other interests/hobbies. it’s an attempt to keep legal adults out of a community. and it sucks to hear that from teenagers! it happens a lot when adults are into anime/cartoons/animation - people tell them to grow up, or find —

— interests that suit their age. we are the same age as your favorite content creators, we are bored college students or recent graduates in a pandemic wanting to find others who share the same interest. a lot of us find it weird to heavily interact with people 13 - 15. —

— and a lot of minors don’t want to interact with us as well! so please, don’t tell us we don’t belong in a certain community because we’re a few years older than you. ignore us or block us and move on! i don’t condone sending hate or attacking the person who made the tweet —
