1. LIVES: If one of the key pillars for how BTS connected with their fans is thru social media, then it should be a no-brainer to create a platform that encourages other artists to connect in that same way. +
BTS broke norms by being so vulnerable, unpolished, and human online in a time where social media was commonly used only to perpetuate the pristine idol images in kpop.
BTS' desire to share themselves in such an honest way in part led to a deep *horizontal* bond bw them & ARMY.+

Instead of a vertical relationship where the artist is the top of the food chain (to be admired and looked up to and awed by) & the fan is the passive recipient, BTS pioneered a horizontal relationship where they are their fans' peers, and one recharges the other's batteries. +
Such a horizontal relationship allows for a more sustainable career for the artist, where the pressure to be perfect & god-like is lessened by the fans' understanding that their artist is human.

2. CONCERTS: A streaming platform equalizes the playing field between fans who can attend concerts/fan meets for their artist - and those who can't (for a variety of reasons: cost, geographical location, availability of tickets, etc).

3. COMMUNITY: An online streaming platform accessible by anyone with a wifi connection + featured artists around the world with different fanbases = more crossover between artists, fandoms, and culture.

There are so many ways in which artists can influence each other thru this platform, where different fandoms can interact & learn from each other, where the vast world can feel smaller/more understandable.

4. LONGEVITY: By including other ent agencies and record labels, BH is setting up a mutual partnership with companies who would otherwise be rivals in this space.
This creates a greater chance than the platform will be supported, will be sustainable, and will GROW. +

Rather than create a competing platform with exclusive content (eg. much like all the 2384439163 streaming services competing with netflix), each company is motivated to bring their content to BH's platform and make it even better, more exciting, more attractive. +
It means that the end users (you & me) are more likely to enjoy a wide spectrum of content on this one platform, catered to all kinds of tastes, available to everyone at the same time.
