How to become a social chameleon.

-Thread-
A social chameleon is someone able to fit wherever they go.

Someone so socially skilled that they can find the right words and actions that appeal to ANY interlocutor or social circle.

That, without losing their own sense of identity and character.
The most important characteristic of the chameleon is that they are able to go unnoticed.

They do not draw attention on them, yet people are amazed whenever they find one.

It is through your silence and detachment that you can cultivate the same vibe.
In order to blend in, one must observe for long enough and determine the sub-culture of the social circle they want to blend in.

By distancing yourself from the conversation and being silent for a while, you can notice and point out how those people behave; what words they use.
By speaking a language that appeals to that social group, you de facto make yourself one of them.

Any social circle has its own language and way of speaking, behaving.

If you can point out those common traits, you can blend in without forcing your integration.
The thing with being a social chameleon is that you should avoid at all costs being noticed as someone who's trying to fit in.

The behavior you will observe and analyze then replicate should come out as natural rather a theatrical act.
Observe
Analyze
Replicate

BUT, do not let that behavior impact who you are.

Once you're out of that circle, you should try as much as you can not to let their traits and habits stick to you.

Realize that you're doing this to use those people, not to get influenced by them.
