ok i have a rare controversial tsh take and also it’s a huge spoiler idk if i have any followers who are cr but SCROLL AWAY baby.. anyways. the fact that camilla doesn’t go to henry’s funeral is my favorite thing about her character. it shows how unreliably richard portrays

her. it calls into question every conversation she’s ever had with richard.. her relationship w henry... her relationship w charles.. while i would say every other character has a good reason for not going (charles obvs wouldn’t want to be there, and richard was in the hospital)

camilla is the only one who Really Shouldve Been There seeing as she was the closest with henry at the end of book 2, and even years later maintains that she still loves him. like idk i could just think about that detail about her forever. she is so eternally fascinating to me

she literally just hopped on the train back to virginia with charles, and according to the letters richard got before they meet up again, pretty much pretended that nothing happened.. THE KALEIDOSCOPE OF HER MIND!!!!!!! I WANT TO UNDERSTAND
