Day 0: The hardest thing was to get permission to farm in Mwanyani. Heavily redacted but after maybe 3 attempts I played my biggest trump card. My grandma. There was no way she could not back my play...We used to hide and drink sodas so she owed me one. #120DaysOfFarming
Day 1: For one acre, you need 16 tonnes of manure..the smaller the animal the better. I messed up I should have gone to Kajiado and not to Makindu ended up spending 3 or 4 times what it would cost.
Day 2: Heavily redacted but never plow near a beehive the smoke tractor made all of us Hussein Bolt from the farm 😂😂 .....got an old soul who plowed at night and did a spectacular job.
Day 3: Raised beds...workers and applying the manure...casual workers will not work as much if they do not see you do the work. Try as much as possible not to be a satellite farmer
Day 4: Planting garlic is the most painstaking and slowest activities...yaani you really have to be patient.
