Well like most PhD work that is groundbreaking, this work isn’t. The show begs a peculiar form of Christian history to argue that Paul didn’t not call people to give up their ethnic distinctives as long as they didn’t locate salvation in those distinctives.
Who would make such a claim? That such deracination occurs im- or explicitly is a testament to globalism and cosmopolitanism (one being the other).
The hosts and the guest making passing shots at whiteness as being problematic. I grew up around minorities, have lived around the globe, and live among minorities now. Whiteness is not shaping their worship much.
Like most self deprecating whites, they only know their own world and the credentialed non-whites who job it it to lecture them about it.
