Ado Awaye is just a 30 minutes drive from the ancient town of Iseyin,hometown of @ShinaPeller and a host of other illustrious sons.
Now to the details of the suspended lake,the Ado Awaye people are very found of this lake as it's both a source of joy and even livelihood to them

On getting to the base of the mountain we met a man who was said to be our guide and also the representative of the government and he told us a brief history of the town before we started the hike. it started with well defined and constructed steps and after about 150 steps
We ran out of it and we had to take some rugged paths before we got to our first stop,a rock inclined at an almost impossible angle and what we thought could be dangerous but the guide told us it has been like that for ages and can't be pushed,well we tried our luck and after
Some minutes gave up and then we took another 10minutes hike to the main attraction,the suspended lake itself, large and very clear as we saw some turtles and as far as our eyes could see,it was said to be very deep and that no one has ever got to it's base before
The guide said an European tried to go in but never returned and his body was also never recovered, Mysterious!!

After some while of looking at this beauty we moved to a smaller lake on the mountain too and we were told it's connected and we marvelled at nature again,after some minutes we moved to check other features of this mountain and got to a kind of elephant like root

The tree was fell by the force of nature and revealed a elephant like structure, Amazing!! From the truck to it's horns and eyes,this root had it all,after taking pictures we went further upwards and came to seeing different small footstep carved in the rock which the man called
The gods footsteps, there were many in numbers and we couldn't wonder about the things that must have occured on this mountain, very beautiful.we moved upwards and came to a very flat surface on top of the mountain, plateau like in nature and so extended,we could see the whole
Ado Awaye community and adjoining communities from this place and the landscape was just beautiful

Missed when climbing and was said to be off limits as different creatures lived there,we would venture into it before 
,a very dark and heary place as we could see from our location

Revenue generator for the government and also provide job for the host communities, also it's doesn't have hotels and restaurants nearby for people that must have travelled from great distances, besides this you are assured of a great time on the mountains
