Tottenham Hotspur: My ideal team for 2021/22. A thread.
Manager: Julian Nagelsmann 
. Mourinho is not the right man to take us forward, but I think Nagelsmann is. Obviously he is young, but he has a lot of experience in big games and with developing young players, Upamecano, Konaté, Mukiele, Nkunku just to name a few.

GK: Donnarumma 
. Lloris is aging, and with that comes more and more mistakes. He is the perfect successor to Hugo, with experience and a longevity of years ahead of him, would be a great replacement for long term. Contract ending in the summer so could also get him for free.

LB: Sergio Reguilón 
. We all know how good of an left back this man is. Speed, agility, stamina. Everything you want in a modern full back. Pretty self explanitory.

LCB: Toby Alderweireld 
. Experienced, still got a few years in him. I think he is our best CB atm, despite the controversy surrounding our defence. Great passer of the ball, even with his weaker foot he can play a long ball. Will need to be replaced in a few years though.

RCB: Ezri Konsa 
. Young and proven, especially this season. A threat from set pieces. Life long spurs fan so they say. Been one of Villa’s best players this season and I think he’d be a great addition.

RB: Japhet Tanganga . I don’t think his best position is at CB. He’s not the tallest, but also not the shortest. He has great athleticism, good on the ball, good passer. We have seen instances of him taking on players and beating them, starting the attack. Can play CB also.

CDM: Oliver Skipp . He’ll be coming back at the end of the season hungry for a place in the first team. He’s already proved how good he is at Norwich. Great on the ball, great passer. Good defensively. Very flexible midfielders. Obviously young and a spurs fan.

CDM: Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg 
. Drops minimum 8/10 performances every game. Passionate. Future captain. Fights for the badge. The rat in midfield who does all the dirty work. A player who would die for the club. Great passing and tackling but can also chip in with goals.

. Who else? Calm on the ball. Insane vision, strength, and can also chip in with goals. Fast paced passing to teammates in between the lines can leave the opposition stunned. A more advanced position allows him to utilize his best qualities.

. 20 years old. The best youngster in the PL in my opinion. An embarrassment of riches in his attacking qualities. Great finisher, dribbler. Not many players in our squad do what he does.
