In addition to his sexism, homophobia, and abuser behavior, this overlooks the fact that TNG was already up and running more or less smoothly by the time he really took over, and that the best post-TNG Trek (Seasons 3-7 of DS9 & Season 4 of ENT) he was *very* hands-off

Please don't @ me about VOY. I like Janeway and I like The Doctor and I like Seven, but it's mostly crap - though crap that's still better than the majority of ENT.
