I taught myself almost everything I know about the eye, the complement system, and macular degeneration. We covered a little in pharmacy school but that feels like a long time ago... If I erred on any science tweet me so I can do a correction Issue #5.
This was the longest piece I have written in years and the most in-depth I have gone in explaining immunology concepts so I’m sure not everything is perfect. But I wanted to make it approachable too. It was a lot of fun!
