A LOT of left, right or religious extremist bullshit works by preying on your belief that you are a smart person.

"You know that thing you think should be simple to do?" They whisper "It is. It's just that those BASTARDS over there are pretending it's hard."

Don't fall for it.
The truth is that you may well be smart about something. But you are not smart about THAT thing.

So go speak to the people who are. Not the people the extremists tell you to talk to. The people who are actually DOING THAT THING on a daily basis.
Ask yourself:

Do you know how hard YOUR job is?
Do you know how to do it well, or how it could be done better?
Has someone ever come in from the outside and told you it's easy, when you know it isn't, and it's all got a bit shit as a result?
"Don't listen to them! They have a vested interest!" The extremist will howl.

Yeah. They do. Like YOU do in what you do. You have a vested interest in it being done WELL and not all fucking up.

So maybe don't listen to people who tell you other people's work is simple either.

- WHATEVER IT IS YOU DO IN LIFE

That last one is true and YOU know it. So ignore the whisper. Let other things be complex too
