why is my lecturer saying they haven't slept in 36 hours what the hell is uni doing to these people ??
the response to this tweet has been a bit bigger than i expected! but i just wanted to say thank you for all your work and send a lot of solidarity to everyone this tweet has resonated with - all of us students are so appreciative :)
also i’m going to try to take some of the suggestions that people have made to my uni bc it’s so wrong for anyone involved in online teaching to have to sacrifice their MH/ time with family/ physical health etc. to maintain unsustainable workloads
also @ any students who see this (HE or otherwise) student-staff solidarity is integral right now!! please stand with your teachers and your lecturers and everyone else involved with your education to demand better working and learning conditions!!
