📈Investment Platforms📉

Before you start investing in stocks, you need to choose a platform

This is the App or website you’ll use to buy/sell stocks, ETF’s, bonds, etc.

If you’re unsure which one is best for you, here’s some info that will help

First up, Freetrade

1/7
@freetrade is an investment platform available in the UK & selected EU countries

What I like:
☑Incredibly user-friendly interface
☑Makes investing simple for beginners
☑Commission-free trades
☑A free share worth up to £200 with my link 👀

2/7

Here are their core values
What I don’t like:

❌Charge £3/month for ISA
❌Charge £9.99/month for ‘premium’ content which includes some stocks & ETF’s

Overall, a great, free app with everything you need. Keeps it simple and doesn’t push risky products

Next, @Trading212

A very similar platform but much more widely available.

What I like:
☑Commission-free trades
☑ISA's are free
☑Practice account with £50K fake money
☑Good amount of info available in-app for each stock/instrument

4/7
What I don’t like:

❌ CFD’s - HIGH risk!!!
❌ Not ideal for beginners imo - too much info can be overwhelming when getting started

Overall, great app if you’re a confident beginner or already know your way around investing
