I have so many favourite LGBTQ+ romantic novels for #RNADiverseLoveWeek. Here is a thread of a few. #LoveStoriesAreForEveryone @RNARainbow https://twitter.com/RNAtweets/status/1361266716181946369
The first light and love of my heart is HEARTSTOPPER by @AliceOseman #RNADiverseLoveWeek https://www.aliceoseman.com/heartstopper
The book I can't stop thinking about is This Is How You Lose The Time War by @tithenai and @maxgladstone #RNADiverseLoveWeek https://www.waterstones.com/book/this-is-how-you-lose-the-time-war/amal-el-mohtar/max-gladstone/9781529405231
The FIRST EVER LGBTQ+ standalone romance published in print by @MillsandBoon, The Secret of You And Me by @MelLenhardt #RNADiverseLoveWeek https://www.waterstones.com/book/the-secret-of-you-and-me/melissa-lenhardt/9781848458086
My favourite-ever historical novel with the most heartstopping twist in fiction, Fingersmith by Sarah Waters #RNADiverseLoveWeek https://www.waterstones.com/book/fingersmith/sarah-waters/9781860498831
A dazzling feat of storytelling and sleight of hand which is also at its heart an ageless love story, Confessions of the Fox by @jordy_rosenberg #RNADiverseLoveWeek https://www.waterstones.com/book/confessions-of-the-fox/jordy-rosenberg/9781786496256
Insatiable by @NotRollergirl came out this week and I described it as a bisexual Bridget Jones with lots of group sex and a touching search for love: #RNADiverseWeek https://www.waterstones.com/book/insatiable/daisy-buchanan/9780751580174
One of the most profound and beautiful queer love stories ever written, The Left Hand of Darkness by Ursula K LeGuin #RNADiverseWeek https://www.waterstones.com/book/the-left-hand-of-darkness/ursula-k-le-guin/9781473225947
An upcoming feelgood book about gay friends finding family and love, The Split by @lauraelizakay: #RNADiverseWeek https://www.waterstones.com/book/the-split/laura-kay/9781529409819
Only one of these books (Secret of You & Me) is a genre romance novel—the others are love stories. I don't tend to read much genre romance these days so it's my own reading bias. There are a LOT of great LGBTQIA+ genre romances out there. #RNADiverseWeek
A few LGBTQ+ genre romance authors whose work I've enjoyed: @JaeFiction @ENichols_Author @ladrianaherrera @LiamLivings @jodyklaire @ClareLydon #RNADiverseWeek
I will admit that two of the books I've recommended above have tragic (though beautiful) endings, but in general I like my queer love stories to have HEAs. I wrote a little bit about why in this article published today: #RNADiverseWeek

I'll add more to this thread but please also recommend your favourite LGBTQIA+ love stories for #RNADiverseWeek and tag @RNARainbow. I particularly want to read more trans and NB voices, and more books by authors of colour—not necessarily genre romance but love stories with HEAs.
