Men can be selectively friends with other men...
Easily i guess.
I mean one topic theyll argue, another one, they ll back each other.
Men are always there for other men.

Women arent wired like that. If we dislike someone, its usually the whole personality.
We women therefore end up with fewer friends.
We are constantly evaluating stance, we dont want to be too hypocritical.

We also disconnect any ties when someone hurts one of our sisters/ girlfriends. We are compulsively taking a stance all the time.
Men can be sexually oriented towards anyone.
But their love is always first for the men.
Their role models, their heroes, the ones they cheer for, the ones they root for, the ones they guide.. Everything is usually other men.
It takes conscious effort to look farther than that.
That is why we have songs like...
Pombalanga kaadhal ah thaan nambividathey....
Venaam macha venaam ponnunga kaadhal.
Adi da vala.. Thevaye illai...

Friend ah pola yaaru machchan...
Taxi taxi.. Nanba nee oru taxi....
....

I can go on!!
Anyway...
Sisterhood is why we women survive and thrive.

And we have our ways to cope.
Even though we bicker and bitch...
