1. The atonement of Christ hasn’t just changed my actions. That isn’t the point. The atonement has changed WHO I am. My will has begun slowly changing to His... resulting in a desire to follow Him until the end
2. My life objectively has gotten much worse, but I am in a much better place. The Holy Spirit brings the fruit of joy. I do not claim to be always happy, especially as I have struggled lately, but I know in whom I trust
3. I know who I am. I do not keep it a secret that I have struggled with the word of wisdom, and my biggest motivation to keep it is having the knowledge to understand that I am a literal child of God. As a child of God I should respect my body. I also enjoy keeping a recommend
4. I have developed a fuller understand of what it means to take on the name of Christ. If you call yourself a “Christian” you are taking His name on, and you had better wear it well. Intentional or careless misrepresentation is taking His name in vain

Knowledge is important, but it is way more important to concern yourself with turning away from your own sin & unto Him
10. We do not have a sadistic God. Our Heavenly Father is cheering us on. He wants us to face our trials with strength and grow from them. Life is hard but He did not leave us to face it on our own #DezNat
Any growth that has occurred im me already or going forward is a testament to Christ’s atonement. Every “success” of mine brings glory to His name & not my own.

12. This is easily one of my favorite verses. Repenting may be for your own benefit, but it eventually leads to the repentance of others. Keep on keepin on
13. There truly is no such thing as a middle ground. No one will be perfect, but you cannot intentionally avoid following aspects of the gospel you don’t like.
Either Jesus is who He says He is, or He isn’t. If He is, then we had better accept the gospel in full #DezNat

14. We weren’t asked to be perfect in mortality. We were asked to conform to the “Culture of Christ”, meaning we all have different temptations that we have to leave at the door to find our way back home
