In early 2000s, long before 2009 deadly riot, I worked for a Koryo saram managed company from Kazakhstan. Had KZ workmates, Kazakh & Uyghur including. They were nice, except to my surprise they absolutely hated the Chinese.
Not all Kazakhstani are like that btw.

I normally don't tell that, because I wont to help to promote unity in XJ. I respect Central Asian more than most ppl I know, too but ridiculous radicalisation of Turkic speaking CAsians is absolutely real - and was quite widespread in XJ after a few decades of cross-border life.
People are weeping now? That deradicalisation is suddenly a policy to stop this cross-border sinophobia? Yes weepers are also victims. They are victims of Western-backed, sadly before that also Soviet-backed disinfo & propaganda.

Now helping to support the economy of XJ and peaceful deradicalisation of the region is the only moral thing to do. I disagree that some re-educated need to be detained, too but each country does deradicalisation their way, Tajikistan & Kazakhstan do it too. In closed facilities.
Fed up with this emotional manipulation - Kazakhs and Uyghurs are no victims, it is their love to motherland that was used as a tool in the hands of cynical foreign powers. The moment they start terror & radicalising youth, children it's a no way back scenario.
I'll rather avoid Canada that still has genocidal policies towards absolutely innocent native women, and of course I'll avoid the USA, the biggest bully and liar on the planet.

You can write whatever book you want, won't change the facts of history. Where are people killed June 2009? Are their families weeping too? Why would innocents die in bus bombings and stabbings? Because violent separatism backed by Western idiots, that's why.
Or let's talk about Uyghur divisions and them killing each other, brother on brother? For centuries? Killing entire ethnic groups? Gangs kidnapping kids? Terrorists drafting young men to ISIS all over Central Asia? And China should allow this bloody mess on its territory? Why?!
I wish this comes back at Western world and hit them harder, hit them harder than what they've caused around the world by creating and financing terrorist groups, violent revolts, promoting divisions, feeding nationalist groups that divide entire civilisations. Hypocrites, burn
